On December 3, 1990, Enigma released its debut album “MCMXC a.D.”. It was the beginning of an exceptional global success story. A quarter-century later Enigma is launching “Enigma Moments” - an online event to commemorate the project’s 25th anniversary together with you, loyal Enigma fans.
With eighth album released Enigma has created many wonderful different musical stories. Thousands of you have shared with us the role Enigma played in their lives. 25 years later we want to bring all these moments together: to share each others’ experiences and, most importantly, tell “your” story of Enigma.
So, we would like to welcome you to add your personal Enigma Moment to our timeline. Also, feel free to browse through other people’s submissions and show your appreciation with a Like. And just to make things even more interesting, we will add to the timeline with things never seen before.

About Enigma Moments

With eighth album released Enigma has created many wonderful different musical stories throughout its 25 years of existence. Thousands of you have shared with us the role Enigma played in their lives. Even more of you, remember and treasure a particular moment involving an Enigma song or album.

25 years later we want to bring all these moments together: to share each others’ experiences and, most importantly, tell “your” story of Enigma. We would like to welcome you to create your personal Enigma Moment.

As a first step, click on ‘Create Moment’ and select the song or album you want to associate your moment with. Then, describe what the moment is about and why it is special to you. Before submitting, please add a picture and let us know when and where you have experienced your moment, so that we can add it to our timeline. Once your Enigma moment is created, feel free to share your moment with friends and other fans on Facebook and Twitter. You can also browse through other people’s stories and show your appreciation with a Like. Your moments are what Enigma is all about!

We will be gradually adding official releases, videos, press reviews and other interesting stuff to your moments. And just to make things even more interesting, some of the things we will publish in the timeline were never seen before. So keep coming back! It will be interesting.

Welcome to 2016
The year 2016 saw the release of Enigma's eighth album, “The Fall Of A Rebel Angel". Presented in a modern sound garment the album re-connects with its beginnings through a musical parable of mankind's never-ending fight for a self-determined life.
Welcome to 2008
The year 2008 saw the release of Enigma's seventh album, ”Seven Lives Many Faces”. Using a new decoder for its musical DNA, the album combines earthy hip-hop beats with orchestral string parts.
Welcome to 2006
The year 2006 saw the release of Enigma's sixth album, "A Posteriori". While the Latin title translates to "based on experience“, the album focuses on the phenomena of the universe drawing the listener’s attention to the present state of humanity.
Welcome to 2003
The year 2003 saw the release of Enigma's fifth album, “Voyageur“. Often described as "sophisticated pop”, the album creates an intoxicating electronic ambience while experimenting with edgy rhythm and modern sounds.
Welcome to 2000
The year 2000 saw the release of Enigma's fourth album, "The Screen Behind The Mirror”. While not dwelling on musings or thought-provoking questions, the album’s leitmotif is: “The path of excess leads to the tower of wisdom”.
Welcome to 1996
The year 1996 saw the release of Enigma's third album, “Le Roi Est Mort, Vive Le Roi!”. Considered as the “child” of its previous two instalments, the album combines elements of the “parents” with a new sound identity.
Welcome to 1993
The year 1993 saw the release of Enigma's second album, “The Cross of Changes”. Inspired by the science of numerology or metaphysical mathematics, the album features rock elements from the 70’s combined with ethnic voices.
Welcome to 1990
The year 1990 saw the release of Enigma's first album, “MCMXC a.D.”. Transcending cultural and musical boundaries, the album is an innovative sound collage of Gregorian chants mixed with pan-pipes.
