Age of Loneliness

This one arrived by an unusual route, written first for the movie Sliver and only later pulled into the album under a new name. What survived the renaming is the feeling the title now carries, a sense of someone adrift and far from home, set to one of the album’s most yearning melodies. On the single it found another life entirely: the German duo Jam & Spoon reworked it for the floor, turning a song about isolation into something a room full of strangers could move to together.
