About Boum-Boum

The most playful thing Enigma released in this period. After years of solemn, candlelit atmospheres, here is the project grinning, with Andru Donalds and Ruth-Ann on lead vocals giving the song a loose, easy charm. It is light and percussive, asking only to be felt, not decoded. That it drew remixes from dance names like Chicane and Wally Lopez says everything about its pulse. Boum-Boum is Enigma allowing itself, for once, to be uncomplicated.
