The Eyes of Truth

If the second album has a center of gravity, this is it. Around a single found voice, Cretu builds something with the scale of a film score: everything wide and slow, drums like distant ritual, the feeling of looking out across a great distance. The vocal is the seed, but the track grows far past it, into one of the most openly devotional pieces Enigma has put its name to. It is the sound of the project reaching east and staying there a while.
