About The Rivers of Belief
After the provocations that open the record, this is where it exhales. The closing piece is the most still and devotional thing on the album, a slow tide of chant and synth that cools the temperature rather than lifting it. Paired with it on the single is Knocking on Forbidden Doors, a harder and more restless counterpart that keeps the ending from drifting off too quietly.
”At that time I did not really know much about Hinduism, but I was touched by the headline of this song. When shooting the video I chose the holy place "Benares" located at the Ganges, which is used for their traditional washings.
